21 types of bounty cultivated in Japan's climate in one cup of tea
百草紅茶には、厳選した５種の国産紅茶をベースに、
計21種の国産原材料を使用しています。
中には非常に生産量が少ないものもあるため、
1年間で製造できる量は限られていますが、
変わらず国産へのこだわりを貫いています。
また、情熱ある国産生薬農家さんの一助となるべく、
定期的に生産地へ訪れ、収穫作業の手伝いなどを通して
交流しています。
例えば、石川県白山市で生産されている「当帰」は、昔から日本で栽培されてきました。
しかし、今では外国産との激しい価格競争の結果、多くの国産当帰は採算が取れず、
その数は減少傾向を辿っています。
私たちLFORは、百草紅茶として新たな価値を提案することで、
貴重な伝統が日本から立ち消えてしまうかもしれない現状を変えたいと思っています。
